Michael (Production Manager)

Michael has seen the hottest environment on earth (Death Valley) and now he wants to be able to visit one of the coldest. A well travelled and seasoned explorer of the globe, this trip was Michael’s vision, but he knew that he could not undertake it alone. When, by chance, his friend Thor invited him to Denmark he knew his chance to visit the Arctic circle had come within touching distance. After a few days of convincing his friend he came round to the idea but still thought it nearly impossible on their budgets; a short while later the two necessary extra crew members had been recruited (Steve and Russell) and the vision was starting to become reality. However this vision had no direction, no focus; it wasn’t until a small gathering in a local pub with friends that the definite plan came to fruition – Not simply a trip, but a documentary. Michael is a passionate amateur photographer/ videographer and by chance had a large group of friends within film making circles, two of which he lived with. Things seemed to fall in place to undertake the adventure and actually have a good chance of success. Only time will tell whether the vision was simply that, a vision, or whether four boys from South London could actually get to the Arctic Circle in a modified Landrover.
